Our MissionThe JMD Foundation fosters hope, dignity, and self -sufficiency by providing nutritious food, warm clothing, and mentorship programs to individuals and families across Milwaukee’s underserved communities.Our StoryFounded in 2018 by Joseph Davis, a lifelong Milwaukee resident inspired by his mother’s generosity, the JMD Foundation began with a simple vision: to create a support network where neighbors help neighbors. After witnessing families struggle with food insecurity and young people seeking positive role models, Joseph left his career to dedicate himself full -time to service. Named in honor of his mother, the JMD Foundation has grown through grassroots volunteerism and a deep commitment to empowerment.Our ValuesWe believe in compassion, community, respect, empowerment, and integrity. Our Tutoring & After-School Support program provides personalized academic guidance and a supportive space for students to thrive.
